CATAG. A game played in real cities, against real opponents.
The game has three phases.
In the positioning phase, you spread out into the city.
In the active phase, you gain information points by
doing two things: scanning targets and tagging
opponents.
In the review phase, you return to the start and look at
the photos of the confirmed tags. The team that gathered
the most information points wins.
Information Points
Score the most points with your team
Scan Targets
To scan a target, you must find it, then stay close to it for a while without being tagged by opponents. By completing the scan, you gain information points.
Tag Opponents
When you see an opposing team, you must photograph them, select their color and send. If the opponents are clearly visible, they become tagged, and you gain information points.
Being Tagged
When a team is tagged it must relocate. While relocating, the team is inactive, meaning they can't be tagged again, but also can't use their map, scan targets or tag other teams.
The Hunt
Every few minutes the leading team is hunted. Everyone now sees their position. The first team to tag them receives a bounty (additional information points).
What to expect
Choose your city, pick a time, and book online.
Your Game Master meets you on location, briefs the rules, and sets up the game.
Chase, hide, tag opponents and scan targets across the city.
Wrap up, see the results, and head for a drink or food nearby.
